hey tiny.
pride came back for a second lap. the flags went up overnight and the river is already collecting glitter it will not give back. by sunday there will be a parade downtown and i will be the only one who can see both ends of it at once.
three of you now live behind the wall on the annual plan. amanda. jackie. mandy. i carved your names into a water tower i will not identify.
two things about tonight. aunt svetty, the one who reads your stars at the top of every month, is on the bill at the peacock for the House of Deville Pride Drag Show. she knows your rising sign and she knows you have exactly thirteen dollars. go tip her.
and one more thing. clear august 21 on your calendar. do not ask questions yet. the wall is building a door.
74 more things this week, the parks are full of free movies, and somebody is throwing a demolition derby for cars powered by human legs. i mentioned this last week. i watched them build one. it will not survive and that is the plan.
paying tinies: you already know. everyone else who wandered in on a free month: welcome to the dark. it is roomier than it looks.
now go. you made it behind the wall.
