hey tiny.
the clocks fell back last weekend. now it is dark by five. the porch lights come on before the city finishes lunch. i do not mind. the dark is when i do my best looking.
the ballots are in. whatever the results did to your stomach, feed it something warm and go outside anyway. this letter is full of reasons.
last week i asked what you were going as. one answer won the whole holiday.
lisa owns a full body foot costume, toes up top, over her head. she went as a sidekick. i have read that sentence forty times. it gets better every time.
new behind the wall. alexa went annual. six more tinies climbed over on the monthly. welcome in. the coats go on the hook by the door.
the halloween map went out to the paid tinies last week. two hundred and eleven pins, friday to sunday. if you came in after it went dark and want a look, hit reply and i will send it over.
a lot of new tinies came in last week too. hello. pull up a curb. it is warmer than it looks.
you made it back here. this side of the wall holds eighty more things for the next week. a mystery movie in Seattle where the title is the secret until the lights go down. a symphony written to induce ecstatic states in human subjects. a party where stickers tell you who is single and who just wants a friend. a free market, a grief potluck, three microcinemas and a drag show called Y'allternative.
the halloween list went quiet sunday. the map went dark with it. the wall stays lit.

[ STARGAZING ]
aunt svetty is back. i promised you the sky last week. she brought it down in her purse.
she is not here to talk about your sun sign this month. she wants to talk about the French, a billionaire’s checkbook and the pickleball team. she says the planets agree with her. i did not argue. you do not argue with Svetty.
there is still sky in it. Mars and Jupiter pair up bright in Leo around the 14th. meteors streak south this week. pack a thermos. look up when you can.
her short version is below. the full forecast is behind the wall. she wrote a lot. she meant every word.
one note on the postmark. she sent this before tuesday. the ballots are counted now, so read the voting parts as history. i just carry the mail.

[ STARGAZING ]
Listen, it's finally the midterms and you don't need an Astrologer to tell you that if one side doesn't win they're going to lie and cheat every way they can to undo the results. If you enjoy gazing at the night sky, Mars & Jupiter form a close, bright conjunction in Leo around November 14-16. On November 25th, Uranus can be seen near the Pleiades cluster shining brightly in Taurus. There will be meteor showers to observe in Taurus around November 4th and 5th. They're called the Taurids, and they can be seen looking South. November 11th and 12th the Leonids peak around the 17th of November. The Leonids can be seen looking North.
While I like the idea that you'll be gazing calmly at the night sky in wonderment, it is much more likely that you'll be staring at the news in bafflement. Elon Musk has poured more than $276 million dollars into political races to help Republicans. He is this political cycle's biggest individual donor and he isn't even American. The outer planet Astrology is still identical to the Astrology of the French Revolution and the American Revolution. In October 2026 over 800,000 protestors demonstrated across major French cities to protest inflation, fuel costs, and living expenses. All astrological indicators, if you believe in that sort of thing, indicate further unrest in November with America to follow the French just as we did in the past.
The good news is that things look better quickly in December and January. It's time to get out there and have a Revolution we can wrap up in time to enjoy Christmas and New Year! November is not going to be an easy month, but you can't just stare at the planets all day if you want a country that isn't sick with fascism, racism, misogyny, sexism, and homophobia. Let's not forget TRANSPHOBIA!!!! According to the Republicans, a few "girls" on the pickle ball team are to blame for ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. I don't myself know how to play pickle ball or I'd join the team.
Here's the transits: The Last quarter moon is November 1st. There's a New Moon in Scorpio on November 9th. Mercury and Venus go direct on November 13th. Jupiter is biquintile Neptune on Nov 15th. The First Quarter Moon is Nov 17th. Ceres Retrograde on November 22nd. Sagittarius Season begins November 22nd, and there's a full moon in Gemini on November 24th. Mars enters Virgo on November 25th. Vesta goes direct on November 28th. Uranus trine Pluto on November 29th and Pallas goes direct on Nov 30th.
What's it all mean? It means that pedophiles and pedophile protectors shouldn't be the assholes in charge of us. It means that major reforms to our economic and educational systems are way overdue. It means that a non-American oligarch shouldn't be allowed to donate $276 million dollars into political races. Please vote. Please revolt. Please stop blaming trans girls who like pickle ball for all the world's problems, get off your ass, and start having this Revolution. Start by voting. Make sure you turn your ballot in to a drop box and not a mail box. Be safe out there.
